# Audit log: object filter

You can open the audit log so that it shows only the changes to a specific object. This works for individual employees, feedback processes and target agreements.

The audit log is only visible to users with the "Audit log" permission. Without it, the links described here don't appear.

## View changes to an employee

1. [Open the employee profile](/en/c/general/employee-profile) of the employee you want.
2. Click the "Details" tab in the employee profile's tab bar.
3. Scroll to the end of the Details tab and click "Show audit log".

The [audit log](/en/c/audit-log/audit-log-overview) opens with the object type "Employee" and shows only the changes to the selected employee.

If you change the filter settings (time range, object type or operator) in the filtered view and apply the filter again, the restriction to the selected employee is lost.

The "Details" tab is only available if your organization has enabled the "Employee details" module. If the tab isn't visible, contact your HR department.

## View changes to a feedback process

1. [Open the participant list of an edition](/en/c/feedbacks/participant-list) of the feedback process you want.
2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) to the right of the "+ Participant" button.
3. In the menu, click "Show audit log".

## View changes to a target agreement

1. Open the detail page of a target agreement (e.g. via [Objectives](/en/c/target-agreements/getting-started) in the sidebar, then select the edition and the target agreement).
2. Scroll to the end of the page and click "Show audit log".

The [audit log](/en/c/audit-log/audit-log-overview) opens with the object type "Target agreement" and shows the changes to the selected target agreement and its intermediate goals.
