# Delete a feedback process

Deleting a feedback process is **not permanent**. The feedback process is first marked for deletion and becomes immediately inaccessible to employees. You have **90 days** to restore it. After that period it is deleted permanently and automatically.

Alternatively, you can [archive a feedback process](/en/c/feedbacks/archive-feedback-process). Archiving keeps all results and just removes the process from the active list.

This feature is only available to users with the "HR employee" role.

## Delete a feedback process

1. Open the [feedback overview](/en/c/feedbacks/reviews-overview) or the [feedback archive](/en/c/feedbacks/feedback-archive).
2. Click "Admin" at the right edge of the row.
3. Click "Delete".

4. A confirmation dialog appears. It shows how many participation groups are affected and points out the 90-day restore window. Click "Delete now".

5. The system confirms that the feedback process has been marked for deletion.

The deleted feedback process now appears in the [feedback archive](/en/c/feedbacks/feedback-archive). It is shown greyed out there and indicates how many days remain until permanent deletion.

## Restore a deleted feedback process

Within 90 days of deletion, you can restore the feedback process.

1. Open the [feedback archive](/en/c/feedbacks/feedback-archive).
2. Click the restore icon (↩) at the right edge of the deleted feedback process.
3. Click "Restore".

4. Confirm with a click on "Restore".

The feedback process is then available again in the feedback overview. All results and participation groups are kept.
