This feature is only available to users with the ["HR employee" role](/).

On a review's settings page you define the title, editions, email texts, perspectives, performance questions and other options. This article gives you an overview of every setting available.

There are two ways to open a review's settings.

### From the Feedbacks overview

1. Click "Feedbacks" in the sidebar.
2. Click "Admin" on the review you want.
3. Choose "Settings".

## Overview of the settings

The settings page is divided into several sections. Depending on the review type and configuration, not every section is shown.

## Title

In the "Title" field you name the review. This name appears in the overview, in invitation emails and for the participants.

If your company uses several languages, you can translate the title into other languages using the language switcher next to the field.

## Editions

Editions are the run cycles of a review. You can run a feedback process once or repeat it regularly in new editions.

Each edition has the following fields:

* **Start and end date**: the period during which participation is possible.
* **Send invitations**: an optional date and time for the [automatic sending of email invitations](/en/c/feedbacks/set-up-automatic-email-invitations).
* **Title (optional)**: an optional title for the edition, e.g. "Q1 2026".
* **Target agreement links**: if the questionnaire contains questions linked to a target agreement, you can pick the matching target agreement edition per question here.
* **Competency model link**: if the questionnaire contains a competency assessment question, you can pick the matching revision of the competency model here.

Use the "Add edition" button to add a new edition. When you do, you can choose whether the new edition starts with an empty participant list or takes over the participants from the previous edition.

Deleted editions are kept for 90 days and can be restored during that time. They appear greyed out above the active editions.

## Edit email texts

Here you adjust every email in the feedback process: invitations, reminders (7 and 14 days by default), and sealing and completion notifications, each with a subject line and body, recipients and send time. The **Notification Center** tile takes you to the management view.

## Perspectives

Perspectives define the roles that feedback is given from. In a two-sided feedback (e.g. an annual review) there are two perspectives: feedback recipient and reviewer. In a 360° feedback you can set up several reviewer perspectives (e.g. manager, peers, cross-team).

For each perspective you can adjust the displayed name in the text field. For multi-rater feedbacks (360°), the following extra options are available:

* **Moderator**: a checkbox that sets whether a perspective has moderator rights. Moderators can, for example, start the sealing.
* **Add / remove perspectives**: use the plus and minus buttons to add new reviewer perspectives or remove existing ones.

## Potential analysis

The potential analysis lets you attach strength values to questions in the questionnaire and produce a quantitative evaluation from them. Use the "Configure potential analysis" button to reach the configuration page.

If no questions in the questionnaire are enabled for the potential analysis yet, the note "Potential analysis disabled." is shown.

## Performance questions

Performance questions are special questions that enable a company-wide performance assessment. They are shown separately at the end of each result report.

Enable or disable the questions you want with a checkbox:

* **Question on the overall performance of the employee**: every employee assesses themselves and every supervisor assesses the employee in question.
* **Question about the overall satisfaction of the employee**: only the employee receives this question.
* **Question about the development trend of the employee**: only the supervisor receives this question.
* **Question about the employee's risk of leaving the company**: only the supervisor receives this question.

## Options

The "Options" section holds further settings for the review. This section is not shown for anonymous surveys.

### Subsequent changes

Reviewers and moderators (in 360° feedbacks) can reopen a feedback after it is finished and make changes.

### Sealing

To be completed, feedbacks have to be digitally signed by both sides. Feedback recipients have no insight into the results before sealing.

When you enable sealing, an extra option appears:

* **Visibility for feedback recipients before sealing starts**: feedback recipients can view finished external results (e.g. supervisor feedback) even before sealing is started.

### Diplomatic Status

Results from feedback processes with Diplomatic Status can only be viewed by the people involved or by users with executive access.

### Show names (multi-rater feedbacks only)

Sets whether the names of the reviewers are shown in the result view. If this option is disabled, the names are removed from all answers.
