# Search participants

The search in the [participant list](/en/c/feedbacks/participant-list) helps you find individual participations within a feedback edition.

## Run a search

1. [Open the participant list](/en/c/feedbacks/participant-list) of the feedback edition you want (the Invitations tab).
2. Type your search term into the "Employee data" field.
3. Click "Search".

The participant list then shows only participations where the search term matches one of the people involved.

The search looks through these employee fields: first name, last name, email address, staff number and all custom fields. It's not case-sensitive. You can also enter first and last name together (for example "Lilian Bauschke").

## Search by supervisor

You can also find all participations belonging to a particular supervisor. Put an `@` in front of the supervisor's name.

**Example:** `@Lufft` shows all participations where a person named "Lufft" is set as the supervisor.

## Reset the search

Clear the text in the search field and click "Search" again. The participant list then shows all entries once more.

If you have a [filter](/en/c/feedbacks/create-filter) active, the search runs on the already-filtered participant list — it narrows the results further, on top of the active filter.
