# Delete an observation

You can delete observations one at a time or several at once. Only the person who created an observation can delete it.

Deleting an observation also deletes all its sub-notes and comments.

## Delete a single observation

1. In the sidebar, click **Profile**
2. Open the **Notes** tab

3. Click the observation you want to delete
4. Click the trash icon at the top right

5. Confirm the deletion with **Delete now**

The observation and all its sub-notes are now deleted.

## Delete several observations at once

1. Open any observation (as described above)
2. Click **Overview** to open the observation list

3. Select the observations to delete using the checkboxes on the right edge
4. Click the trash icon at the top right

5. Confirm the deletion with **Delete now**

The selected observations are now deleted.
