Review settings

The settings page of a review is where you configure every part of a feedback process: title, editions, notifications, perspectives, potential analysis, performance questions and further options. Not every section is shown for every review type.

Open the settings

There are two ways to reach a review’s settings:

From the feedbacks overview

  1. In the sidebar, click “Feedbacks”.
  2. Click “Admin” on the review you want.
  3. Choose “Settings”.

Overview of the settings

The settings page is divided into several sections. The screenshot below uses a two-sided feedback (annual review) as an example.

Title

The “Title” field holds the name of the review. This name appears in the overview, in invitation emails and for the participants.

If your company uses several languages, you can translate the title into more languages using the language switcher next to the field.

Editions

Editions are the cycles in which a review runs. You can run a feedback process once, or repeat it regularly in new editions.

Each edition has the following fields:

  • Start and end date: the period during which participation is possible.
  • Sending invitations: an optional date and time for sending email invitations automatically.
  • Label (optional): an optional label for the edition, e.g. “Q1 2026”.
  • Target agreement links: if the questionnaire contains target agreement questions, choose the linked target agreement edition here, per question.
  • Competency model link: if the questionnaire contains a competency assessment, choose the revision of the competency model here.

Add a new edition

The “Add edition” button adds a new edition. It’s a dropdown with two options:

  • Clean participant list: creates a new edition with no participants.
  • Copy participants: creates a new edition and copies the participants from the last edition.

Deleted editions

Deleted editions aren’t removed straight away. They stay visible (greyed out) for 90 days and can be restored during that time. Each deleted edition shows how many days remain until it’s permanently deleted. Use the dropdown menu next to the edition to choose “Restore”.

Perspectives

Perspectives define which roles give feedback.

In a two-sided feedback (e.g. an annual review) there are two perspectives: feedback recipient and feedback giver. You can adjust the names of the perspectives in their text fields.

In a 360-degree feedback you can add several feedback-giver perspectives (e.g. Manager, Peers, Cross-team). Each perspective also has these options:

  • Moderator: a checkbox that sets whether a perspective has moderator rights. Moderators can, for example, start the sealing.
  • Add / remove perspectives: the plus and minus buttons add new perspectives or remove existing ones.

Potential analysis

The potential analysis lets you assign strength values to questions in the questionnaire and build a quantitative evaluation from them. The “Configure potential analysis” button takes you to the configuration page.

If no questions have been activated for the potential analysis yet, you’ll see “Potential analysis deactivated.” Once questions are active, the section shows how many are active (e.g. “Potential analysis active for 16 questions.”).

Performance questions

Performance questions are special questions that enable a company-wide performance assessment. They’re shown separately at the end of each result report.

Turn the questions you want on or off with a checkbox:

  • Question on the overall performance of the employee: every employee assesses themselves and every supervisor assesses the employee in question.
  • Question about the overall satisfaction of the employee: only the employee receives this question.
  • Question about the trend of development of the employee: only the supervisor receives this question.
  • Question about the likelihood that an employee leaves the company: only the supervisor receives this question.

When you turn a question on, an inline form opens. There you can adjust the question titles per perspective, edit the answer options, and set whether the question is mandatory or allows notes.

Further Settings

The “Further Settings” section holds options that control how the feedback process behaves.

Subsequent changes

After a feedback is complete, feedback givers and moderators (in 360-degree feedbacks) can reopen it and make changes.

Sealing

To be finalized, feedbacks must be signed digitally by both sides. Feedback recipients have no insight into the results before sealing.

When you turn sealing on, an additional sub-option appears:

  • Visibility for feedback recipients before sealing starts: feedback recipients can view completed external results (e.g. supervisor feedback) even before sealing is started.

Diplomatic status

Results from feedback processes with diplomatic status can only be viewed by the people involved or users with the Executive management access level.

Show names (360-degree feedbacks only)

This option is only shown for multi-rater feedbacks. It sets which names appear next to the feedback givers’ answers in the results view. The choices are:

  • Show full names: the full names of the feedback givers are visible.
  • Show perspective: only the perspective is shown instead of the name (e.g. “Manager”, “Peers”).
  • Show no names: all feedback-giver names are removed.
